Larry Webster, the Editor-in-Chief at Road and Track, had the unique opportunity to race the BMW M1 during the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca. The M1 is owned by BMW North America who didn’t seem to object much and even shared some the M1 was priced at $45,000, so it seems the car has really aged like a fine wine to be put up for $250K. So this might be your chance to own a vintage BMW supercar before the new Vision inspired supercar from BMW debuts in 2015. Let’s see how the price One of the most under reported and interesting races are the historic car races still happening around the world. Most recently at the Nürburgring 24h, the Classics undertook a classic 3h endurance race on the Nordschleife in Germany. One car stood out (Primered bodywork on the M1 itself would be as a mole on the Mona Lisa.) Next to Roy Lichenstein's Group 5 320i. It finished first in its class, also driven by Poulain -- this was the most successful Art Car to date. There was something special about the -[unk] -Did you know BMW once made a supercar? Its engine is in the middle. It was designed to go racing and it very nearly didn't happen. It's a piece of automotive legend and its name is the BMW M1. The M1 only lasted four years, from 1978 until 1981. A BMW M1 ProCar will also be raced. Both cars will be on display throughout The Reunion at the BMW Garage in the race paddock. The 3.0 CSL race cars were the first cars to be developed under the new BMW subsidiary, established in 1972—BMW Motorsport GmbH. .

Two other men travelling in the same BMW suffered serious injuries and were taken to causing major delays during yesterday morning’s rush hour. The men involved are understood to be from the Bangladeshi or Pakistani community in east the BMW 3.0 CSL that won the 12 Hours of Sebring and a BMW M1 ProCar. The 3.0 CSL race cars were the first cars to be developed under the new BMW subsidiary, established in 1972—BMW Motorsport GmbH. They were also the first to sport the newly designated As for styling, the new BMW M1 will be a modern interpretation of the original car without being retro.
